Lonas Alvorada opened in 1996 beside BR-116, one of the busiest truck routes in the south. Being on the road made the store a natural stop for drivers who need a new tarp or a repair, and over time the range grew to serve farms, construction sites and homes.

Lonas Alvorada sells and manufactures tarpaulins on highway BR-116 in Colombo, in the Curitiba metropolitan area.
